Starting at Wiebenson & Dorman Architects as a high school intern, Aimé returned to the firm after completing his Bachelors of Architecture at The Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NYC and his Master's of Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in Cambridge, MA. Born in Paris France but raised in DC, Aimé showed an early interest in architecture and the built environment and made inroads with the firm with the help and support of a high school English teacher, a personal friend of the firm's principal Kendall Dorman. After high school, Aime continued his architectural education at the Pratt institute where he developed a particular interest in parametric architecture. Between undergraduate and the completion of his graduate school studies his interests pivoted to the role of design(ers) in informal settlements, ecologically and economically at-risk neighborhoods, and historical communities.

Returning to the firm in 2020 during the COVID 19 Pandemic, Aime maintained these interests, with particular passion in projects like Bread for the City, Mi Casa, Re-House - Re-Joist, Mahaffie Residence and others. These themes have remained at the core of his pursuits and design orientation at the firm. In Addition to architecture, Aime is an active artist and arts advocator in the city of Washington DC. He is a member of the DC Arts Studios and spent time as a board member for the DC Arts and Humanities Collaborative (AKA DC Collaborative), an organization that strives to provide equitable arts access to DC's public-school students.

Like Kendall, he is an avid cyclist and lives in the urban DC village of Mt. Pleasant.
