Rented to others for years, a psychiatrist bachelor returns to the District to update his 3-story circa 1970's row house. Updates include a new kitchen with a Möbius butcher block counter-top, an urban garden, a home office, a partial metal facade, and a translucent sliding door that, when open, allows views from the bathtub through the big stair hall skylight. The 'House of Cool' (as named by the Owner) was published in the national design blog Apartment Therapy and was photographed by his friend and famed photographer Bob Lautman, who also referred us.
